About the West Ottawa Ladies Chorus
The West Ottawa Ladies Chorus is a chorus of women who have choral experience, love to sing three and four-part music, have fun, and enjoy performance opportunities as they arise. Membership draws singers from primarily west Ottawa and surrounding communities. The chorus is led by Stittsville resident Robert Dueck with Peter Brown of Lanark as chorus accompanist.
From the original 12 voices at their inaugural performance in the spring of 2012, the chorus has grown to a strength of 35-40 members in any given year. The ladies chorus continues to grow and increase its profile as a community chorus by performing annual Spring and Christmas concerts.
Additional performances may include: guest appearances at concerts, providing musical entertainment for luncheons, banquet functions, fundraising events an entertainment at community service organization events.
Performances have become known for their creativity, diversity of musical styles and artistic excellence. More information can be found at www.westottawaladieschorus.ca

Bishop Shane Parker’s letter states our Diocese will “move into the RED stage of our pandemic plan, effective December 26 at 12:01am, and remain there for 28 days—or until further notice.” As a result, St James Carleton Place and the Parish of Mississippi Lake are suspending in-person worship services for the time being and worshipping together online.  Read our parish update here.
