Twentieth Sunday After Pentecost
Presider: The Reverend Rosemary Parker
Reader & Prayers: Peter Hicks
Musician: Ian Guenette
Previous live streams are available as well.
Confused by all the details and extra steps you need to take to go to church? It’s hard. But we will make that extra effort, and we will rise above the struggle, and we will be the church. One church. Together.
Streaming at 9 am on Sunday. Watch the live stream from this page or come back and watch any time you want throughout the week. For Facebook users, we stream on the Parish of Mississippi Lake Facebook page where you can interact with others watching online. If you post a comment, folks in church can see you’re with them in spirit!
Zoom Church & Coffee Hour
Do you miss seeing people and interacting with them? Watch the live stream with others over Zoom, and then stick around for Coffee Hour. To join in, subscribe to our weekly email newsletter in partnership with the other churches in the Parish of Mississippi Lake. If you’re sure you’re subscribed, and the emails seem to have gone missing, check your spam folder.
Tell your family and friends who don’t have a computer – we’re going live over the phone! Just call 613-508-1189 between 8:30 am and 9 am on Sunday. We’ll keep posting the recording (after 2:00 pm Sundays) at that same number for those who can’t listen in at 9 am, at least until we work out all the bugs and are sure no one got left behind.
If you’re not ready for in-person church, that’s OK. Whether you come or not is a personal decision that only you can make. Please make the right decision for you and your family. When you think you might be ready, read this brochure. It will explain all the measures we’ve taken to reduce the risk of gathering for worship, and what you need to do to get ready.
Even though we have been separated from one another for quite some time, we are one church. Even though we usually worship in separate congregations, we are one church. One church under our Lord Jesus, some of us will be in our churches this coming Sunday, some of us will watch online, and some of us will listen over the phone. No matter where we are on Sunday morning, we are together. Together in the Spirit of God, connected by love.
