Worship, activities and programs are suspended until further notice, but the church isn’t ‘closed’. We’re praying for you, for those you love, and for the people around us most affected by COVID-19. We’re looking for ways we can still be a community together while we comply with directives that are meant to protect the most vulnerable. We want to know how we can offer real, practical help.

The other virus is fear, and the antivirus is faith. Let’s all have a little faith in each other. Be well, stay safe, and be kind.

Bishop Shane Parker’s letter states our Diocese will “move into the RED stage of our pandemic plan, effective December 26 at 12:01am, and remain there for 28 days—or until further notice.” As a result, St James Carleton Place and the Parish of Mississippi Lake are suspending in-person worship services for the time being and worshipping together online.  Read our parish update here.
