St. James is a vibrant, loving, and open Parish where people gather to worship Jesus Christ in the Anglican Tradition. If you`ve been praying, thinking, searching and hoping for a place to belong, our doors are open!
We pride ourselves by responding to human need in our community, in our diocese and throughout the world. We provide support to community groups such as Lanark County Food Bank, the Hungry Lunch Program, Interval House, Centre 454, Cornerstone Women’s Shelter and more. Our wider mission includes an Orphanage in Haiti that was championed by one of our Parishioners.
At St. James, we offer two services on Sunday – a traditional service at 8:00 a.m. and a Choral Eucharist and Sunday School at 10:00 a.m., as well as a traditional service at 10:00 a.m. on Thursdays. Our St. James Cafe is very popular following the Sunday 10:00 a.m. service where we gather for a social time over coffee and goodies.
We’ve been waiting for you! We believe that every person who comes into the circle of this fellowship was sent by God. So, we would like to express Christ’s love to you with genuine heartfelt warmth. We are eager to get to know you, and excited to share with you the marvelous ways God is working in our Church.
